What if Cave Johnson's multiverse theory was right? In which one includes Aperture buying out Black Mesa, and canceling the Anomalous Materials Research. You, as Gordon Freeman run through Blaperture Mesa and the new testing facility in Sector C. Testing goes horribly wrong however and Gordon gets sent deep underground to the abandoned Anomalous Materials labs, and re-activates the Anti Mass Spectrometer. Causing the resonance cascade, and going through the decaying Blaperture Mesa Facilities to make it to Aperture, where a rouge AI protects a multiverse portal that could lead Gordon home.

A little preview of what I've been working on lately!

Posted by on

Here's a preview of what I've been working on recently. At the moment I'm re-building many test chambers in the first half of the campaign, and replacing them with new tests to add more meat to the game, and also to help with the difficulty curve from the Halloween Demo.

In the video is the Turret Intro test. Can be challenging, but is a lot easier to handle than the 'Advanced' Turret test from the Halloween Demo. As for progress with the game, because I don't work on the game very often, I am still under halfway through with what I have planned for the story. There's a lot I want to refine with the current build, much of the stuff being outside what I released with the Halloween Demo.

I want to set a goal for myself by finishing the final versions of the first tests in the game before August, and having a build ready for everyone to play. I know I release a lot of demos, several of which just being the hazard course, but I want to log my progress through these demos, and also give people something to play while they wait.

Keep an eye out this August for a new and improved campaign demo!
