2018 has been a great year for Green Army Men.
During Christmas 2018, all Rising Storm 2 : Vietnam players received a special present : the Green Army Men Christmas Special 2018 - available FOR FREE!
GMTE-Christmas2018 is the result of months of combined effort from the Green Army Men Team, Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games.
Featuring Helicopter on Helicopter combat, the Blue and Green Army duke it out across seven unique objectives, with the fight culminating in a full-blown assault to the Christmas Tree.
A lot of work went into the map's aesthetic, with a slew of new environment models made specifically for this event. Construction logs, car tracks, presents, ornaments, giant couches that allow players to hide between the cracks... it's a riot!
Many gameplay changes were made to fit with the army men theme - you are now immune to all fall damage, and you can finally bail from choppers freely!
Character models also got a face-lift to make each faction stand out more as well as improving their overall quality.
