I am making this fishing mod for those who love casting a pole! below are some of the ideas I will add to the game.
Bait shops (Admin controled)
Ability to rent boat's i.e
Pontunes.
Bass Boats.
Rubber raft
Jet Ski's
ATV's
These are just a few ideas for tranportation for fishermen.
Fishing Environments.
Lush forest lakes
mountain lakes
ponds of all sizes
Ice lakes (ice fishing)
hard to reach lakes (best fishing here)
the heard to reach lakes and ponds will require camping gear and mountain climbing gear!
Bait shop will also supply these for a nominal fee.
How you can make cash.
Work for the DNR (Department of natural resources)(Maybe)
Sell your catch to the local bait shop (no fish is turned away)
Sell worms.
Turn in those without a fishing license
to the DNR
Win fishing contest (admin Controled)
all players will start with the basic equipment to start fishing! A limited license to fish may be supplied also,As well you will be able to explore around for good spots and all the fish contained in all lakes can be controled server side by admins!
I hope to provide a fish database That admins can add new fish species on there own without coding!
The features above will take some time to implement so don't expect to see some of them in this mod when we release a beta!
I am going to shoot for the basics and build on some of these ideas,so anyone interested in supporting this mod please do so.

add a buyable grenade to fish with. but make it expensive, since it would make fishin a lil easier. pull pin, chunk in water, boom! YEEHAW! redneck fishin!
A update would be nice to hear lol. Your site looks like your switching over to swg :(. I think this mod also sounds like a nice idea. I said it once I will say it again we need more sport mods lol.
I;am finaly back from fishing! hehe j/k been in school,and I'am ready to get working on this mod again! got my diploma and a new setup.

Oh, and maybe even helicopters to get to the really fiendish places, like those hard to get by lakes? The helicopters would be pretty expensive, and you can only pay for tranportation, maybe later on even hire/rent one for a conciderable price?
Sounds really, really sweet. An easy thing to prevent high FPS rates is you use fog for longer distances over lakes, seas etc.
It would also be cool if you could say, ride bikes, mopeds/motor cycles, cars etc to some lakes. And as you can rent boats, you could maybe rent them in some store not neccessarily by the water and use your car to transport them on either the roof or on a trailer.
Sounds pretty wicked to me. :P
