Genlauncher is a program for downloading, installing, updating and launching mods for Generals ZH. At the same time, GenLauncher supports many mods installed on one version of the game, also it supports patches and add-ons for mods.
I generally do not like installers and launchers for mods, because they ironically make installing multiple mods harder, but I really like this one :)
GenLauncher makes it easy to install and update multiple mods while keeping your ZH folder clean, and it also has a host of QoL features like being able to set your game resolution before you start your game and being able to quickly turn GenTool on and off as needed.
This is one of the best tools to come out for ZH in a while!
In my opinion one of the 2 must have's for zero hour fans, one being gentool and the other this, never has installing mods for this old gem of a game has been easier than with this
Downloading mods was never so easy as with GenLauncher!
More to say, having multiple mods installed is now much more convenient, and the fact you can add any mod downloaded previosly and launch it in GL takes it into whole another level!
GenLauncher is a tool Generals modding community needed long ago, and finally it's here, working nice and steady! (though there's still space for improvement).
It makes finding, installing and updating mods something accessible to anyone.
A must have for fans of ZH who want to test the greatest mods
Well done! Very easy to install and use. This negates the need for hassling with third party installers/launchers and a copy/paste of the ZH game folder.
Genlauncher is probably the most useful tool for ZH if you play multiple mods
I've been using mods for games for 25ish years now, I know how to install a mod, troubleshoot and make it work. But, a tool that makes that process easier, better and smarter is rare, but this does everything and more.
This is a must-have tool. It lets you access all the great mods for this game easily. This makes it all a breeze, and it's so easy to switch from one mod to the other as well. This will always be installed along side the game from now on.
This makes it possible to not only have multiple mods at once, but I literally clicked one button and it installed a mod. WOW!
GenLauncher is intuitive in use, and simple to download and set-up. I previously used to copy the files for ZH into differently-named folders to allow me to have multiple mods set up, but this is something I've not needed since I used GenLauncher. Just for that huge QoL and reduction in HD usage, this has to be a 10 from me.
