Though medicine and technology in general have made it possible for the human race to avoid sabotage and disruption, only those of higher class are able afford life-extending genetic engineering, plastic surgery for unborn children, and remedies for cancer. Pollution is a worldwide problem, causing death and decay in various areas of the world. Businesses are not willing to change to cleaner and more efficient ways of production.
