Welcome to Half-Life 2: Genetic Variation, a mod where you play as a Combine-modified Headcrab. The Resistance is threatened by the surplus of the new crabs, but when modifying you, they made a huge mistake without knowing, causing you to become a smart and sentient Headcrab. Your job is unknown until later into the game. The Combine plan on releasing hundreds of shellers full of these new Headcrabs out into bases. You have to work together with humans to stop the evil force.
With this last concept, we all decided that we liked it and it similarly looks like the first concept. We also replaced the latching devices with something more Combine-esque. Next concept should be side-by-side, topside and underside views.
I really like the idea of the Combine making use of the aliens from Xen, and you've done a good job with these concepts.

We'll get art of of the underside, topside and side soon and then we can start modeling :)
Yeah it's without a doubt the best model.I guess you guys are doing this for the Headcrab trow since we won't be able to see ourselves unless there's a mirror somewhere.I'm also guessing the Overnome will act like a Gonome unless you're just adding the model and making the animations and A.I on your own.Makes me curious.
You did a really nice job taking very combine-like shapes and colors and adding them to the head crab. Looks exactly like what it should.
