Hey ya'll and welcome to our first "mini update".
Mini-updates are random spontaneous tiny updates that can appear anytime following achievements in RL by the team, boredom, a question posted by the fans, boredom, or other random events that's worth mentioning.
On with the update then, with sem-break coming to a close and college starting up again soon, I stumbled upon a question on our ModDB page...
Q: "What happen if you switch from nuclear missile to antimatter missile for china x general "
The answer?...
A: Youtube.com
Well that's about it, hope you enjoyed this small GenX update
Neat
Nice, idea, but for me it looks too much like the nuclear rocket just with different effects. You might wanna try out some different ingame effects like waves or heat effects.
Just some thoughts keep up the awesome work.
I agree with this nothing really new here except those spectacular light effects. I think that You should add a new projectile or something and what exactly does the changed radiation effect mean? Great but I think you all could make it even better based on what you've already done.
There will be a new missile model, as well as a new superweapon building, they just haven't been made yet.
Also unlike normal radiation, antimatter also damages buildings and does more damage to vehicles and infantry.
Oh, I must have missed that in the awesome video. Well if you say that it also damages buildings then it is perfect against GLA holes, and that is great!
great job , I beg to differ with the rest opinion's that it looks the same as the nuclear explosion in generals, the effect demolishes buildings, that's what counts ( the destructive forces ).Why it doesn't completely obliterates the remaining building is probably because of the balance issue's with game play, or is it just my imagination?
Great effects, altho as I understood placeholders, so better to be expected in the future! :) I hope tho that it actually does make more damage than the normal nuke even if it does go a bit against balance, maybe raise its price and countdown then, cause whats the point of having "superior" tech, if its the same as the old one other than looks? :P
Edit: also, might be better if it got something else as afterdeath damagedealer than radiotion that lasts about a minute, something quicker maybe that deals more damage to compensate, might feel more like something new, not saying radiation is bad either tho. :] Don't take this as an suggestion if you aren't accepting any, just thinking out loud here... :-D
Unlike radiation, the antimatter residue left behind after the explosion can damage buildings and does significantly more damage to vehicles and infantry. Which is why the explosion itself is relatively the same.
