TL;DR Tweaks for Gekokujo Daimyo Edition 3.1 (savegame compatible). New animation for idles, movement, attacks, deaths, and other non-animation changes.
DO NOT USE WITH VANILLA GEKOKUJO !
How to Install (savegame compatible)
1) Make sure your version is patched to Daimyo Edition 3.1
2) Extract to Daimyo Edition folder, overwrite files.
3) Done.
Make sure to backup the files, or just download the 3.1 patch again and overwrite it back if you don't like the changes.

Full Release
- Guns accuracy reduced, but increased the reload speed
- Moar smoke from gunshots! (high and low spec version also present, check the files)
- Bullets are now visible (like a mini tracer) and have a small cartridge pouch on user
- Gunshots audio slightly altered to sound a bit more powerful
- Arrows shot from bow are a bit slower
- Arrows have a very mini black tracer on it, so you can see where you're aiming at better
- Added nanban handgun (pistol)
- You can now 'couch' spears, but its not overpowered like native
- Probably a few other small thing that I've forgotten
Beta Ver.
- Fix peasant skirmisher's weapon proficiencies (new game required for it to take effect)
- Fixed woman mesh error when using no clothes.
- Fixed horse mesh bug (thanks to kmin)
- Removed monk headwear in certain armors to avoid clipping.
- Adjusted polearm right swing animation
- Sakai Bajozutsu can now be used to reload on horseback, its name implies the thing is made for mounted combat anyway.
- Nagamaki speed is decreased by a bit.
- Fort troops are given special treatment (new game required for it to take effect)
>Sado troops are still pathetic in combat, but buffed in hp to be good cannon fodders.
>Jimon troops are now discount Ikko Naginata Monk, stronger than before but still weak.
>Tsushima and Shingi gunners increased in gun proficiencies.
>Utari swordsmen are now very fast shock troops, watch as they charge enemy skirmishers.
>Utari skirmishers buffed in archery skills, buffed in sword skills too.
FEATURES (from alpha ver.)
Modules
- Enabled "ai_decide_direction_according_to_damage" so npcs will prefer attack that deal more damage (eg AI with katana will slash more, not thrust)
Animation
- Many new idles.
- New more satisfying death animation, headshots galore! (No strange death pose when playing with ragdolls turned off)
- New movement style, two handers are given a much more agressive look, polearm users hold their weapon upright as much as possible.
- Tweaked slashing polearm attacks, to give them a more 'eastern' look.
- New gun aiming animation.
- New crouching animation for weapons.
Combat
- Naginata speed increased
- Naginata no longer have a thrusting attack, but given an upward slash.
- Katana style slashing animation are tweaked, left and right slash have slightly faster anim. Overswing are slowed a bit to avoid spamming the same overswing attack.
- Gun speed (not bullet) are slightly increased to accommodate the new aiming animation.
- Arrow drag increased slightly (much slower arrow on great distance)
Particle effects
- Bigger gun smoke.

Does this fix the sieges? That was the main issue with daimyo edition, the sieges are completely nonfunctional.

Yes, it will conflict with other submods.
There is however a rough workaround to only implement the animations, it involves replacing the action.txt and adding some minor lines to module.ini
1. backup actions.txt and module.ini
2. open module.ini
3. copy paste both line somewhere in module.ini:
load_mod_resource = new_idle_move_anims
load_mod_resource = new_anims
4. copy paste actions.txt and resource folder
Note however that you will not have the other tweaks like upward attack slash of naginata, large gun smoke, et cetera

Did you install this submod on top of Gekokujo Daimyo Edition with 3.1 patch? Don't forget that you need to download the 3.0 version first and patch it second.
If you did then I don't know since I did not add/change anything related to textures.

What's next? Release date is unknown since I've some things to do first. But here's the list I wanted to work at:
1. Possibly fix all skirmisher proficiencies, right now, some clan have useless peasant archers because of improper weapon skills.
2. Tweak polearm's right slash because its hard to distinguish it from overswing.
3. Some new death animation if possible (unlikely though)
4. Tweak fort troops' stat a bit, does anyone even use them?
5. Somehow fix the undressed female error?
Everything listed above is savegame compatible things, so don't worry.
Would it be possible to fix the clipping issues of armours such as the Sohei Kozane Gusoku and Sohei Retainer Armor where you can see part of the headpiece obstructing your vision when in 1st person view? Also, there is a glitch in Daimyo edition where the Kiso horse uses the incorrect model if it has the "heavy", "spirited" or "champion" qualities, I have managed to fix it on my own and can give you the code if you would like to include it as a fix.

Bear in mind that I also made it so that Kiso horses are available in all marketplaces (like all the other horses already were), and not just the ones in Kanto, which you can revert in Morghs if that bothers you (but I don't recommend doing so as the narrow geographical restriction made Kiso horses nearly impossible to ever come by).

Heavily curious as though I know this is being planned in a different mod, will there be any plans of any other Asian countries into Gekokujo? Say like Korea or the Ryukyu Islands, but understand if not, only curious.
