I was thinking about that. I want to add a place on the map where you can buy the portiques mercenaries.

Somewhere on Kyushu would be ideal, like Nagasaki. Either a small camp near a city or an NPC in cities should allow you to hire them

If you do add them...Make them expensive else people would say the mod would be easy if you buy some European Foreigners.

a system similar to Shogun II would be cool - expensive imported units and weaponry, but well worth the price.

Northern part of Korea is Korea. It's historically inaccurate for the Mongols to be there, unless you're talking about late fourteenth century, when they occupied the northeastern part for a few years.

Will Japan be as big as in gekokujo or will it be compressed?
