Hi, guys, here is first of the Republic heroes that is not clone or jedi - Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. In phase 1 away from Coruscant he'll be escorted by Lieutenant Thire and clone troopers Jek and Rys, at phase 2 Thire is commander, but Jek and Rys are still with him.
And yes, you can't see any weapons in Palpatine's hands. But he will be strong field unit. How is that possible? Very easy, you can see in the credits from where I took the animations. But can you guess the specific unit and it's way of attack? You have 24 hours for suggestions, as usual the correct answer with most positive votes wins and I'll contact the winner about the price :)

Finally Chancellor as unit not hero that only reduce costs. His animations are Urai Fen animations.
Why do you think we are going to use a melee character as animation source?
He is not holding weapon. This is why I was thinking that he is using melee to fight.

Question: what weapon Palpatine uses?
I'll be damned if it would be force lightning. If not that, he'll give strong bonuses for friendly units on the map: attack, defence and so on.
And nice model, Free Radical's BF3 is truly a wonder.
Either he uses the force to destroy the enemy or he doesn't actually fight and is just ordering around his troops.

Is his special ability to call in reinforcment? And for his attack I just assume he will not attack but instead use special ability attacks.
Palpatine will bite the opponents guaranteed. He's basically the most powerful unit.
