essentially the wall just left of elf is the 'x' = 0 line of map cells at this point viewport.x is negative
and the new code does a wrap around treating the negative 'x' area as if it came from the right side of the map
the sprite display had a seperate test from floors / walls, so it took some convincing to do this thing
and yes, i made an acid puddle (PICKLE in source) generator
gauntlet 2 called them "acid blobs", i call them angry pickles
