gauntlets thief would appear randomly on levels after 7
he starts at player spawn, picks the "wealthiest" player (or only one for singleplayer)
and makes a beeline along that players exact route, running faster than all other dungeon denizens, (including elf with extra speed)
when he arrives at player location, if he isnt shot, he steals the most valuable item the player has...
starting with special power potions, extra speed being his favorite
then regular potions, keys, and finally gold
after his light fingers routine he runs for the player spawn
if he is shot the item he stole is dropped - if not it appears near the start of the next level
potions drop orange (not shootable) bottle, minus special powers

the thief never spawned from a generator in gauntlet 1 or 2, but the nature of sanctuaries game engine makes it trivial to spawn any monster defined from a generator
so, I made a thief spawner
they can deal melee damage and steal, but they dont make a break for the exit
this would be a nasty encounter - they are still fleet of foot and will quickly nab all your special potions, ruining them
