The idea of Gargoyle Arena is simple, play as a gargoyle and kill all of the other gargoyles. The gargoyles are actually based off of people from Moddb, (such as Cheapalert, Hammy Bob, ect.) Every gargoyle will possess 5 differant powers. Some can fly a certain height, some can scale the walls with amazing speed, and some are just really big and strong. The gargoyles powers focus around a certain feature or element, like ice, fire, strength, electricity, ect.

With Q3A going open source later in the year, Gargoyle Arena is planned to go stand-alone, hopefully. Because we keep getting the damn "I don't have q3a" excuse from the players/watchers/whatevers. So rejoice One and All, for soon GA will not be a mod, but a game free for download and play! :D

Thats great news, not just for this mod but for alot of Q3A mods out there that want to do that little bit extra wiht their mod, which they currently cannot do :)
