Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

FriendlyFire has been back at work on the his hyperspace effect. As you can see, he's done something absolutely incredible and I hope you all enjoy the fruits of his labour.
This is actually pretty good! Just wondering, how does it looks in cockpit view? Mod is great, keep it up guys.

Looks ok but needs a lot more work. It would also be better if you could get that blue swirl like when the millenium falcon is in hyperspace just before they come up to the death star in "A New Hope".

While I appreciate the critique, I think I have to mention that creating brand new ALEs (The file that creates these effects) is an exceedingly difficult project and to do what FriendlyFire has done is really outstanding in terms of Freelancer Development. For this present effect, it took him over 12hrs to do and I really don't think what you'd like is even possible.
