Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

While we create our new capital wreck models, Friendly Fire has been hard at work improving our explosions effects. As you can see from his work, you are all in for a treat when you watch the capital ships get blown from space!!
I am still amazed that you did this with the Freelancer engine. Very well done indeed, can't wait for it to be released!
Ya, we're really pushing it to its limit. We have received such amazing help from the Freelancer Community from modding sites like TSP to get to the point we are today. That being said, FF is also just a very skilled modder that does amazing work.

....ah....ah....and now I have to change my pants on account of I JUST $H!T MYSELF! You guys are doing work that's beyond amazing. I wish I could lend a hand, alas my modeling skills are restricted to Cinema 4D and would be of no use to you. Again, beautiful work. I know what I want for xmas...;)
