Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

First let me start by saying a fond WOW ! I am a Star Wars nut,(that and i'm gettin' old in my young age), Friggin' awsome ! My hats off to all involved in this extrordinary reinvisioning of Freelancer mod. I cannot wait for the next update that has been mentioned! I "do" Have to ask this however. I would also like to play this via my own LAN here at my home but i am unable to get it to work. I have three computers here to start a wing for future online play on your server however those involved who will play it along with me are not as proficient at the controls as i and they wanted to get used to it before we all join in with everyone else. Besides if we're going to get spanked so to speak then it would be nice to put up an honorable fight "worthy" of any aggresors attention. Can someone let me know if it is possable and how to go about doing so ? Also, on the update fore mentioned,for single player game, will there be an entire moving galaxy of AI traffic, freighters,battle groups,pirates,and police and military patrols as well as com traffic and the like that will attack me on sight like the main Freelancer game in the next update? I'm sorry this is long but i'm curious as well as astonished. I thank you all.
