First alpha coming soon...
Good news for all friends of this mod - Frankie and me(Drako) decided to release a first version of the mod "Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars - Tactical Simulator" soon.
At this time we're still working on civil research, which is not completed, yet. After that we've got to finish a few small things and then we're going into the team internal testing phase. Once this is completed there's nothing that prevents us from releasing version alpha 0.1.
This first version will contain 2 races - the Federation and the Klingons.
After the alpha is released we hope for your opinions on the balancing and also for some feedback on the mod in general.
More important for our english speaking friends:
The first alpha and also the following ones(if we decide to release more than one) will be only available in german. The reason for this is that it would just slow the progress down if we had to edit two string files at the same time.The final version of this mod will be available in english, though(if our translators don't try to escape again).
I hope you can understand our reasons for this.
P.S.: We don't have a release date, yet, since we've made some bad experiences with that as you all know!

Erste Alphaversion kommt bald....
So liebe Freunde dieses Mods - Frankie und ich (Drako) haben gestern Abend beschlossen demnächst die erste Version des Mods "Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars - Tactical Simulator" zu veröffentlichen.
Zur Zeit arbeiten wir noch an der Zivilen Forschung, diese ist noch nicht komplett fertig. Danach sind noch ein paar kleinigkeiten zu machen und eine interne Testung. Danach steht der Veröffentlichung der Version Alpha 0.1 nichts mehr im weg.
Die erste Version wird die ersten 2 Rassen enthalten - Föderation und Klingonen.
Wir erhoffen uns von der Alpha vor allem ein paar Meinungen wie euch die Ballance gefällt und hoffen auch ansonsten auf ein paar Feedbacks wie euch der Mod ansonsten gefällt.
Speziell für Engl. Sprachige Mod- Freunde:
Die erste Alpha und auch die kommenden Alphas (so fern welche erscheinen) sind erst einmal nur in Deutsch erhältlich. Der Grund ist, dass der Mod noch komplett im Aufbau ist und es nur hinderlich wäre wenn wir gleichzeitig in 2 Stringdateien ändern müssten und umbauen. Dies würde das Projekt unnötig in die länge ziehen. Die Endversion hat dann mit Sicherheit (so lange nichts dazwischen kommt und unsere Übersetzer wieder einmal flüchten) eine Engl. Sprachdatei, so dass auch Engl. User vernümpftig spielen können.
Ich hoffe ihr versteht das und bedanke mich schon mal im vorraus für euer Verständniss!
PS.: Ein genauer Termin steht noch nicht fest - damit haben wir ja bekanntlich schon schlechte erfahrungen!
