Changelog
Balance changes:
- Changed the stagger rules for bosses and large enemies. You can now stagger them in three ways:
- Hit them in the head with a projectile.
- Hit them in the head with a melee weapon.
- Deal significant damage with a weapon that has either the knockdown or the "crush through blocks" flag. The threshold for this damage was set so that soldiers and elite troops have a good chance to stagger early- to midgame bosses, and a small chance to stagger lategame bosses. Heroes will stagger early- to midgame bosses almost always, and have a good chance to stagger lategame bosses (developers, Sauron, Archaon, etc).
- Significantly nerfed the bots in the developer wave. They now have roughly 60% less health, are slower, and deal a little bit less damage.
- Likewise, the Dunedain Rangers found in wave 27 of the Free Peoples invasion now have roughly 50% less health.
Good update. A bunch of decent melee guys can now properly handle a boss, which is a big improvement.
