For those with ATI Radeon cards, it has been long known how to do this. See this steam thread.

Finally figured out how to do it for nvidia thanks to this post at Guru3D.com. He doesn't fully explain it so read on for full details. Screen shots there though so check it out.

You need a program called Nvidia Inspector. Open it and click the tools icon next to the Driver Version. Get up the Fuel profile.

Now the first thing you need to do is add SecuLauncher.exe to the profile. To do this click the "Add application to current profile" button at the top and then navigate to your fuel folder (for steam users it is something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fuel depending on your windows version. Double click the SecuLauncher.exe app and it's added.

Next, in the "Compatibility" section, you need to get the anti-aliasing compatibility hash to the correct value so it is either 0x00011241 or 0x000112C1 (the second supposedly removes blur, but I don't know what specifically that means just yet as I haven't done much testing). Enter this value manually as it is not in the drop down list. The SLI compatibility should be 0x00400005, but in case it isn't, make it so (it's in the drop down list).

Now in the Antialiasing tab, set "Antialiasing - Mode" to "Override any application setting". For the "Antialiasing - Setting", I have read in many places you need to set it to SSAA (supersampling) and at least 2x, due to the way the shaders are rendered. I found that to be a huge drain on FPS so I set it to 4x multisampling (MSAA), and found it made a HUGE difference in the game with no noticeable FPS loss, at least on my rig. Play around to see what is best for you.

Once you are done click "Apply changes" at the top right. You can always restore to defaults with the nvidia button at the top. You can close it now and run the game! This is so worth it as it really does make a massive difference, and you can finally enjoy the epicly distant views in full clarity.

You can play around with other stuff like Transparency Supersampling (if you have a good rig!), Anisotropic filtering and V-sync with this tool so enjoy.
