The F.G.T.S. was created in order to combine some the ported content.


Project Idea

  1. Old mods can often become outdated and incompatible with newer hardware, operating systems, and game engines. This means that the original version of the mod may no longer work on modern computers, or may be buggy and unstable when attempting to run it.
  2. Porting old mods involves updating the code and optimizing it for newer technology so that the mod can run smoothly on modern systems. This can include updating graphics and sound, fixing bugs, and adapting the mod to work with newer engines or game platforms.
  3. Also it's can be important for several reasons. For players who have fond memories of playing the original mod, being able to enjoy it again on modern systems can be a nostalgic and enjoyable experience. For game developers, modding communities can serve as a source of inspiration for future games or updates, and porting old mods allows them to continue to learn from and appreciate this creative community.
  4. Additionally, preserving popular mods can help to ensure that they are not lost over time and can continue to be shared and enjoyed by future generations.

Features that will be inherent in these ports

  1. Improved materials (upscaling, adding bump mapping, and reflections)
  2. Community changes (new details + unique novelties)
