The Remington 799 is a descendant of the Mauser 98 pattern that started life in Serbia as the Zastava M85. Mated to a Satin-finish walnut stock, it's a delight to shoot, and an affordable intermediary to a dedicated sniper rifles. Chambered for 7.62x39mm, holds 5 rounds.
