This modification will add Finnish faction to Men of War Assault Squad 1 & 2 along with multiple campaigns for the Finnish side. The campaigns will be based on Winter war's last battles, Continuation war's "attack phase", advance along Kirov-railway in 1941 and 1942, defensive battles of 1944 and Lapland war. Each faction will be unique and player has to adapt his play-style to use advantages and disadvantages to defeat their enemies. German faction has most elite infantry formations, but they lack heavier tanks and heavy artillery. Russians are well armed, have heavy-armor support, have more infantry, but their infantry aren't as well trained and experienced as Finnish and German counterparts. Finnish faction will be "in-between" the Germans and USSR, having enough equipment for attacks & defending areas. Shortcomings of the Finnish faction is lack of mobility and the tank costs.

Description

In addition to sleeve and collar insignia there were plenty of different helmet paintings and hat badges. Perhaps the most famous are the skulls which were painted to the helmets. Based on information what I was able to find, the most likely users of the skulls were KevOs 4, Cavalry Brigade (according to some sources), Armored Brigade (sleeve insignia from 1942) and the 3rd Brigade "Blue Brigade". This update is to show some of the headgear, I will be implementing more of the unofficial insignia and even these are still under works.

First helmet is based on a 1944 picture of two 3rd Brigade infantrymen and the second is based on the helmets worn by some soldiers of the 4th Light Detachment).

Third insignia was worn by AA-troops. They were subordinated to the Air Force during the World War 2 and thus swastika was painted under the insignia of the branch.

Fourth helmet and the field cap have the so called "Arrows of Lagus" insignia which was authorized for the Armoured Division. It was worn on the uniform's right sleeve and it was sometimes painted to the helmet and sewn on the field caps as well.

The last two helmets belong to the 13th Infantry Regiment which was bilingual and Swedish volunteers also served under this unit from 1941. Many soldiers in the regiment painted circles in their helmet to show their language for practical reasons. Also some different cockades were used in field caps. Blue was used for Finnish and Yellow for Swedish.
