how to you handle that ? i have also build in a automativ fov and inventory menu adjustement for different screensizes. do you support only your mega resolution or did you also try to keep other, lower resolutions by keeping the hud items round instead oval ?

:) Well I have not actually played much recently as the patch has been taking my time, but it works great. Viewable area can take a bit to get used to at high aspect ratios. This will be worked on. As far as setting the resolution, I just edit the cfg file.

Testing? So I started at 12:9 (also known as 4:3) and worked my way up to 48:9. I tested every other ratio, and then some half-ratios such as 22.5:9. There are odd ranges where radar won't be pixel prefect but I added about as much support as is practical without tearing into GameRadar.cpp. [that is outside the project limits]

^^ Very nice, I have not seen that feaure in any released patches yet tho. Admittedly there are many I have not checked yet!! I want to try some popular SP mods and see how they play with this. Like Matto 4 comes to mind.

well, i tried all the possible resolutions i could get with windowed mode, but this was / is not always 100% correct scaled.
and, to be honestly, i did not found a ultimate mathematic way to set up all perfect, so i use a conversion table with predefined values for different screensets, liek 5:4, 16:9, 16:10 and so on.

About the math, yea it's brutal. I like math but this gave me a hard time..

By the way, it was mentioned that the FOV scaling was disabled so I re-enabled it. Now it's right lol

Beta 2 dropping in about 15 mins. Am curious what you think of it ;)
