Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
a short peek view on how i develope things, this time: open- and lootable locker's.
i was not very satisfied with the low quality lockermodels and textures which came with farcry, so i searched yesterday a nice texture in internet and modeled my own set of lockers.
after that i was thinking: ok, now i really can do also a opening animation for.
the result is the left locker row.
after seeing that, i was not very lucky with the result, and i used my latest "swingingdoor" script, the result is the right locker row. now, THIS is what i call sexy, unfortunately it's not possible to loot stuff out of those locker's, because playermodel collide always with the doors and close them.
i hope i find a solution so i can use the swingindoor variation, because the animated one looks very dull and not naturally (ok, still 100 times better then nothing).
maybe i insert a switch in the script like "no react to playermodel" but this simpl would then block the player and keep him at distance. or i dephysicalize the doors if player is in near, so player can "dive" into the doors.

And great choice of textures! They even look better than the ones in the Far Cry Classic mod (which has some textures better than any Far Cry 1 mod except Far Cry 2010).
i have replaced them because i didnt wanna use the one from internet 1:1, so i reworked them a little bit actually (russian stickers instead the american ones)
I think you can keep them, but if you like the new ones more, then you can keep them then.

i can use the right ones, with swining doors. i have dephysicalized the doors for very close standing player.

This is freaking awesome. it was SO cool when you shot the lights
unfortunately i forgot at first second to turn off flashlight, and at next lamps, the fire shot light from weapon kill a little bit the real effect, but you can shoot out every light and it will always affect the lighting and the AI sight :)
