Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
by setting up particles and clouds and howling wind for the last posted higher mountain stuff, i noticed that the vegetation which bends and looks fine at see level is totally not fitting the (... howling wind... ), so i created a routine which scales the wind dynamicly to the players z position in world, this is the final test (testmap).
all vegetation is taken out of the same set with identical bend parameters.
the problem was to keep that feature compatible to all types of maps, because usual FC vanilla maps have a windforce of 0.15, and the mappers tweaked then the bending parameters for each vegetation instance to match that.
unfortunately i'm used to be use windforce 3 for world and have therefore a 20 times less bending number in vegetation instances, so i needed an extra routine which take care of that, was not easy, but finally it seems working on all maps constantly and even for all altitudes.
Good progress with the wind-scaling.
