Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
hopefully the last time that i have had to debug my spreading fireroutine. this is a testmap, sorry, i forgot to give burning Enemies some scream sound, also the Traktor does not have correct sounds at all.
please notice that fire do visual burndamage to enemies / change skin and clothes to burned ones.
also take care that nearby explosions can frazzle up / destroy enemies instead of only killing them.
why debugging and test: the last implementation, where i thought it was working, spawned on a releasemap (!) on a 64bit OS every second time the game was started, within 10-15 seconds nearly 3000 fire entities and crashed the game / let game freeze.
now i have totally recodet the fireinfection routine and additionally limited the maximum amount of actual simultan fire entities. (good visible with the debug text on screen).
i know i have to visualize the fireinfection radius around each fire a little bit better, maybe with heathaze particles on ground, there is some work to do.
