Fallout remake will be a total conversion for Fallout 3. The idea of the project is to re-create Fallout 1 Plot summary: You are The Vaultdweller from Vault 13 and your mission is to find the water purification parts, or else the Vault 13 will get water no more. You are forced to leave the Vault. Then you must wander around the wasteland in hope to find the parts somewhere. There will be alot of sidequests just like the original.I am aiming for a game that is alot more like what Interplay had in mind than Bethesda. The Capital wasteland will be replaced with the Southern California, like its in Fallout 1. My first task is to recreate the whole Vault 13 and replace all the scripts so I can replace the start of fallout 3 with this new one. The stats screen will be like it was in fallout 1. If you want to be part of this, just tell your interest in the comment section, and I will contact you.I need help if you want to see this project done.

Just thought to make this thread before that other thread gets full of them.
Yeah, theres no radio stations in Fallout 1, Im pretty sure about that. But since it would be stupid to just make this game exactly like Fallout1 (why not rather play Fallout 1 then) I decided to add radio stations. Now this will be very tricky, because I wanna stay in the canon, at least not to step on the real fallout canon's shoes so I need to carefully think how can I make this happen. Where would the radiostations be located? what music would they play? I cant use music that is copyrighted, and most of this community's musicians make techno, definetly not 30's music so its kinda against the Fallout story. One radiostation's story could be that a lone hacker guy has found shitload of old computers and he decided to fix them and build a radiotower and start a pirate radio. Of course after a while he discovers that its possible to make music with computers and he starts a whole new music genre in the wastelands: Electric music. |

hmmmmm, interesting. I think i will research public domain music, alot of older music falls into this category actually there would definatly be some obscure stuff.. hmmmmmmm i have much research to do . . . AWAY i think royalty free music is available and i think royalty free means its free use like at this wwebsite i suggest looking at the silent film score taht guys faq says as long as you give credit its free to use Another interesting note is that the radio stations wouldnt be available at the beginning of the game it would mostly be available after the radio is bought, certainly would be interesting to have the radio like duct taped to the pipboy or maybe carried differently, have ian boombox carry it, thats about all the guy is good for (other than putting bullets in your back) |
