Here is finally the official announcement for the Explorer! Beta
A new patch has been uploaded with several bugfixes/QoL improvements: Please redownload if you got the Beta earlier! (no patch file uploaded yet.)
New Features:

Patch Fixes:
- Fixed invisible text on party death screen
- Added Fast Travel restrictions: Can only travel to non-enemy centers that the player has already visited, and cannot Fast-Travel from another center
- Fixed some script errors that appear
- Setup and Save results from Multiplayer Co-op battles is now working*
- Break Camp option in camp scene
- Fixed a bug where outposts/other scenes could not be travelled to
- improved map movement overall
- animals now run away from player
