A remaster of Dawn of War Soulstorm aimed for a new exciting gameplay experience accompanied by reworked visuals, sounds, maps and more.
This is a patch file for the full version of Redux 1.25.
Within it are several fixes spotted within the current 1.25 build. This file will also update if more errors are spotted in Redux so keep an eye out for the patch's date. Here are some of those listed fixes and balance changes:
FIXES
- Scout Marine Infiltration research now appears again.
- Chaos Turret Emplacements limit of 6 has been reapplied and can no longer build infinitely.
- Guardian armour increased from 2 to 3.
- Orks Pile O Gunz no longer has a chance to explode, dealing 100 - 800 damage and 20 morale damage.
- Dark Reapers and Exarch no longer have reload speeds decreased by 10%.
- Lord General Power Gauntlet damage buff switched from Plasma Pistol research to Power Swords.
- Tau Jump Packs research no longer increases the Stalker Commander's movement speed by 25%.
- Kindred Strength max damage buffs no longer apply twice.
- Canoptek Scarabs no longer have Cultist weapon upgrades.
- Sisters Repentia Zealot now works again (Gains 3 hp per second when in combat).
- Sisters Of Battle Martyr's Gift now works for Celestian, Seraphim and Sisters Repentia leaders.
- Khymerae no longer slow enemies down by 50% for 4 seconds.
BALANCE CHANGES
- Mine Fields no longer afflict a 15% movement speed penalty.
- Dark Reaper and Ranger build times and reinforce times were decreased slightly.
- Fire Dragon build time and reinforce time was increased slightly.
- Fire Dragon and Exarch health buffs from research decreased by 10 hitpoints.
- Fire Dragon Exarch leader cost increased from 75 to 90 requisition.
- Wraithguard squad cap increased from 5 to 6.
- Warlocks squad loadout decreased to 4 troops.
- Warlocks health buff from Aeldari Hero research increased from 100 to 150 hitpoints.
- Nightwing build time increased from 55 to 65 seconds.
- Wraithlord build time increased from 100 to 180 seconds.
- Mysticism increases Warlocks squad count by 3 troops. Requisiton increased to 100.
- Fortune cost decreased from 75 to 50 requisition.
- Warboss mob cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Soulshock only inflicts 70 damage instead of 100 and no longer prevents morale regeneration.
- Immolators can now transport one squad of infantry.
- Celestian build cost decreased from 240 to 220 requisition.
- Celestian Superior leader cost decreased from 90 to 70 requisition.
- Simulacrum Imperialis leader cost decreased from 75 to 50 requisition.
TO INSTALL: Extract the contents of the zip file into your Soulstorm folder and accept to replace existing files when prompted.

Space Marines "Infiltration" research not available
Eldar Fire Prism tank can be unlocked with a research "Mobilize for War" instead of "Annihilate the Enemy" (text error?)

Canoptek Scarab Swarm squad has an upgrade "Cultist Grenade Launcher" and "Plasma Gun" (need Chaos Armoury and Desecrated Fortress)

Anti-morale guns (flamers, sniper rifles) reduce morale too slow. Is it feature or bug?
Neither. Weapons don't affect morale anymore. Killing units and using abilities are the only means.
Is Frag Grenade (Chaos/SM) "disables combat,movement and abilites for 3 sec"? Use it versus melee units but nothing has changed after use (except dmg and knockback)
The radius of the stun effect is much smaller than the actual explosion and has pretty much been unchanged from vanilla. It's likely you're noticing units still moving because they weren't affected by that small AoE.
It seems to me the "Infiltration" skill no longer available.
If you're referring to the Scout Infiltration, this patch should have fixed it.
What do the parameters Armor-piercing, armor, strength and toughness mean? Which parameter is more important? Where can I read about it?
What you should know is Armour-Piercing is a counter to a unit's Armour and Strength counters Toughness. The more AP and Strength a weapon has, the more versatile they are to any unit. Low AP or Strength however doesn't mean they aren't valid weapons. They might deal a lot of a damage in a short amount of time that destroy units with low Armour or Toughness. Weapons with high AP and Strength might fire slower, so they should always be used on units who are hard to destroy like tanks or monsters.

Dawn of War's listed damages for units is calculated in DPS and not raw damage.
It seems that Bonesinger cannot repair Brightlance/Shuriken platform (Guardians squad)
Is it possible to give reinforce ability to the Land Raider?
Nah, Marines already have 2 avenues for reinforcing over every other faction. If that were the case, I'd probably make it only reinforce Terminators.
