Doesn't look very well thought out. Why replace, either steadily or piece by piece at a time, an intact structure just to maintain the same form? I can see them reinforcing damage and blocking off unnecessary passages, but the silo and green light next to it make no sense.
And, well, I'd recommend putting up more black pipes/hoses if you're going in that direction, singular ones don't look that alien and intimidating, but many may form quite an accent, and help with player navigation.
