There is a built-in greyscale function to Source though. I forgot what the console command was for it though.

Its an entitie that does it I think, but you can also use Fog effects for it.

We have been thinking about our graphical sytle &
direction, and one of our ideas was a noir style,
so I have been working on taking some textures,
greyscaling & re-compiling them. Tell us what you
think of the idea.
