This mod adds a dark and bleak soundtrack to the equally dark and bleak world of perpetual war of ETW. The campaign map is narrated by a dark and somber score in mourning of those dead and fear of an uncertain future. In battle, the time before the fighting is kept in suspense by a steady uneasy hymn, before rolling into a desperate crescendo as the peace gives way to battle.
This is an alternative to other soundtrack mods, which mostly replace the soundtrack with classical pieces. As much as I love Bach, Hadyn, and the other greats, I felt that ETW should have a more serious and perhaps even real score to accompany it. Thus, I made this originally for myself, and then decided to publish it.
All feedback and reviews are appreciated.
Special thanks to Maverick for his help in making this.
I own none of the music in this mod. All music included belongs to its respectful owner.
Questions
What does this replace?
All campaign, loadscreen, and battle music.
Are there ethnic tracks?
No. EiR is universal across the world. Regardless if you're in India or America, the soundtrack is the same.
Is this compatible with (insert mod name here)?
If the mod doesn't replace music, then definitely yes. Specifics on how to make it compatible with mods like Darthmod and Imperial Destroyer are in the readme. (Note: Some tracks, namely the main menu music, may not be available in one of these mods mentioned or any other mod.)

Can I ask what are the names of the songs in this Mod? It's pretty awesome tbh :)
How does one install this mod?
i used now empire manager and it worked, sorry for the other comment works but the musics have too low volume and i cant hear nothing almost all time, and rarely is played musics when i am in battle
does not work, i placed in /steamapps/common/Empire Total War/data folder and there is no difference in my soundtrack
I confirmed it to work with Darthmod and Darthmod CB. All you need to do is upload EiR_Music.pack to ".../steamapps/common/Empire Total War/data" and then open the Darthmod launcher and select Edit - User Script. In the pop up window and add in "EiR_Music" (without quotes) and update script. Start game and you are good to go.
Good music tracks. Highly enjoyed!
Awesome mod! Really enhances the gameplay. I used to turn off music and just play pandora in background but having this great soundtrack respond to in game changes is superb!
