First in order to be able to play the Dutch Armed Forces mod for ArmA2 you will need a copy of both ArmA2 and ArmA2:Operation Arrowhead. These need to be installed to form ArmA2:Combined Operations together as instructed by BIS (BohemiaInteractiveSoftware).
Also the game needs to be fully up to date!:
ArmA2: Version 1.11 + ArmA2:OA: Version 1.62
OA Beta (or Steam version 1.63)
Let's assume ArmA2:CO is all installed with all the patches up-to-date. Then you will need to add the DAFmod files to game folder. You can do this at two ways.
-The easiest would be to use SiXupdater for any future updates and game launch options.
-You can also download the files here on ModDB or elsewhere on the internet. In that case you have to do a few steps to make it all run:
1-Download the latest files from the internet and unpack the @DAF folder to your ArmA2 root folder
(prog.files\bohemia\arma2 or "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2" etc.)
2-Now all you need is a shortcut that launches all this together.:
Go to your arma2 folder > right click the "arma2oa.exe" and create a new shortcut. Right click the shortcut and go to "Properties" Look for the entry called: "Target" and change this to:
"C:\your_path\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -noSplash "-mod=expansion\beta;expansion\beta\expansion;@DAF"
([Note: Change "Start in" to lead to "your_path\arma2oa.exe" & Change "your_path" to your game installation folder])
Then click apply!
