I like them both, an Industrial faction like House Harkonnen would difinatly produce different variantsof the smae vehicle in order to try to fill in different tactical advantages or needs. Though I do hope they are alike stat wise.
If it's just when producing, it kinda lacks on the whole industrial feel. I'm not really referring to just smoke - i meant flames, like the ones shown on harkonnen buildings in dune 2000 and emperor cutscenes. Just black textures don't really count as industrial feeling. By that logic if you follow the atreides theme in the books, which is black and green, they would also look highly industrial :P. Here's an example of what i mean:
House Harkonnen always had a mixed WW2 Soviet-German armies feel. I love the KV-2 turret its so awsome to have a block-turret-of-death in a scifi tank, that I wonder why no one else tried it before.
looks cool
New version is better IMO.

ООО... Супер!
That Harkonnen look is amazing. Though i wish it had more smoke and flames on those buildings to further add to the Giedi Prime legacy.

KV-2 inspired models. I approve, as I love that beast =P
