Nice ! will we have new episodes or maps in the future to play ?

But launching the new episode again to test I have lag (in the second part in the second swiming pool and arriving in the street) before it wasn't, why ?

I test with the 64 bits and 32 bits version I have the same issue

This is most likely due too all the changes on the EDuke platform in the new version supplied with the download. If you want to try the version that was included before, it's revision 7140 and you can find it here: Dukeworld.com

i'm glad that the censoring tiles stuff was included. i do plan on playing the expansions soon, and don't want to deal with anything that would get me in trouble

It seems I can't load saves now for whatever reason. I installed this version, played a little and now tried to load the save I created earlier but nothing is happening. In the load menu I see this: Imgur.com

EDIT: Probably figured it out. I changed the pistol dot crosshair back to the normal version. That may have corrupted my save file.

Yes, even the slightest change to a script file will invalidate a save. Also, The change in EDuke version will mess with saves, so... saves will not carry over from pre-210

The level stats still overlap the the small co-op character hud on the left side: Imgur.com
I would maybe change the position of the level stats so that they are displayed on the right side of the co-op character hud or move that hud slightly up so nothing overlaps anymore.

Also I don't know why but sometimes this happens (so far only on Life's a Beach): Imgur.com

This also affects the normal game menu: Imgur.com

Is this caused by the newer eduke32 included with the 2.10+ updates?

That is a HOM (hall of mirrors) which is typically caused when your installation is missing textures. The missing textures aren't rendered and you get that instead. This could happen in Life's a Beach if new textures were used in the update but we forgot to include them. But then it would likely only be on a couple of walls in one or two maps.

I don't understand how that could happen in the menu, and unless I get more information I can't help.

I wish I could give you more info about this but I think I can't. It just happened while I was running around on the first level of Life's a Beach looking for secrets etc. I know that the more I moved the mouse around the more Duke Nukems and Bombshells would appear on the screen. Is there some kind of log file that would help finding the cause of this problem that I could provide?

The most likely explanation is that a few of the walls lacked texturing, which could cause that to happen. If you are close to the walls then it will make it looks like everything is HOM.
