DRRP - The modern classic. The GZDoom remake of idSoftware's mobile Doom RPG game.
This mod really brings back that nostalgia of playing doom RPG on a java cellphone. Unfortunately still on beta but I hope in the future see it finished, and maybe even see the second title (Doom RPG 2) also included. Overall it is very worth your time.
I never had a chance to play the original doom rpg and have been looking for a way to play it. I found this and had so much fun playing only finding one bug the hell knights sometimes had black boxes behind them and that was it. once the final release comes out i would love to see an option to switch between the classic doom or the doom rpg movement.

A faithful recreation of the original mobile game.
There are some quirks and bugs in this mod, but it's still playable. I have played a couple builds already and I'm looking forward for a finished version with all features and locations restored/reimagined.
For the best experience you better play the original Doom RPG for Java first be it on an actual phone or emulator.
Ok, i have to admit that i absolutely love the original Doom RPG. The original of course, but this NO! It has many glitches and on top of that it doesn't respect the original gameplay. Some people recommend me this version but i prefer playing the mobile version instead... I'm sorry, but Kyle's Doom RPG is a thousand times better :P

The good:
-Faithful map recreation
The bad:
-No turn based
-For some reason when you level up you grow 2 levels instead of 1
-Enemies are too strong... can kill you in two seconds
-Lots of glitches
-Desactivate Free Look is useless because you can only use the fire extuinguisher when you look down... or you waste ammo
-Level up is useless also. There´s little difference.
-For some reason you can only change weapons for one side or with the numbers... what?
Ran out of ammo, Killed Cyberdemon with an axe.
10/10. Will play again.
