Atmospheric immersion into a "Doom-Real" environment. Actually believe you are in a real base. Actually be there fighting to survive and win the day. These are the goals of Dragon Sector. Hi-res texturing. Immersive ambient sounds. Realistic environments. They're all here. If realistic play is your preferred game, then Dragon Sector just might take you as close as you're ever to get to "really being there" in a retro-Doom game!

A brief status report on how Dragon Sector is progressing.

So, I have been doing some more work on map02, adding a couple of little features here and there, to try and make it seem a little more real-like, in how the map works. Also, been doing some balancing work on map03. I've heard that it is a bit too hard, and I have come to agree. With my changes, it will be a fast-paced experience as before, but won't be quite so in-your-face deadly as before.

I am also still working on map04. It is coming along nicely. A few new monsters will be introduced in this map, and some sights which are all new in this map.

All in all, something to look forward to. Working on everything piecemeal right now, as work has ramped up quite a bit over the last few weeks. But progress is being made, never fear, if somewhat slowly for now.

So that's my update. I hope everyone is looking forward to our next release!
