Doomnation is a project of mine that I've spent roughly around 3 years on and covers a huge variety of content (essentially a gameplay rebalancing / enhancement mod) for Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom. I've kept the mod personal for several years as I've never had the confidence to release it, and some may consider it "similar" to Brutal Doom. However the mod consists of many changes, including well optimized gore, Quake-Styled weapon balancing, Rocket-Jumping, Class Mechanics, improvised enemy AI, "Formulaic" bosses (with more than 1 attack pattern) and a removal of the random damage system and much, much more. Using a highly optimized version of "Hunter's Moon's" 3D gore the mod is able to run on some Slaughter-map Wads like Newgothic and such; though I do feel that I could do more to further optimize the system in the future. Currently the gore disappears from view dependent on if the player is nearby or not looking at said gore, so it runs smoothly overall.
