As a musician I had an idea for a remake from the original MUS files from the Episode 1 (Knee Deep in the Dead) the less customized the better, then exported them into MP3 using real instrument samples to make it sound more real life and natural, no big changes on synths or special effects,like many mods I know there are and they sound awesome by the way!, My main goal was to make it sound the more original possible, no changes at all, keeping the original concept from the original creator(s) untouched at it´s maximum possible, I just had kind of an idea like: How could Doom music sound if the game were made in 2020 with the exact instruments of the 90's version? The results were as I expected and It created that nostalgia effect like if you were listening the game music on a wavetable sound card like the AWE32 but with a boost on the metal guitar and bass sounds, awesome acoustics...

Welcome to "Doom Remake - The Metal Legacy" V1.3!Changes from version 1.2 to 1.3: - New Tracks on E1M1, E2M1 and E2M8 with more power on the bass levels and less high pitched noises, removed phaser sound on E1M1 and E2M2 have better remastering sounds on Bass and Drums, E2M8 removed flanger caused from duped track, now these tracks sound accordingly as it should sound Doom on these days keeping a more original acoustic style!.Now the work on Doom 1 should be mostly done!, now it's time for Doom2

Welcome to "Doom Remake - The Metal Legacy" V1.3!

Changes from version 1.2 to 1.3:
- New Tracks on E1M1, E2M1 and E2M8 with more power on the bass levels and less high pitched noises, removed phaser sound on E1M1 and E2M2 have better remastering sounds on Bass and Drums, E2M8 removed flanger caused from duped track, now these tracks sound accordingly as it should sound Doom on these days keeping a more original acoustic style!.

Now the work on Doom 1 should be mostly done!, now it's time for Doom2!, stay tuned for the release within the comming months, but there could be a surprise very soon still for Doom 1!
