Doom Of The Dead is a Co-op and single player zombie survival mod for Doom 2. The mod has a more slower and realistic gameplay style which encourages strategy and teamwork, (Inspired by the Steam game "No More Room In Hell"). Either survive as long as you can in "survival" maps or attempt to complete different scenario's in the "escape" maps.
Mod includes:
Buildable barricades: Found a hammer and some boards? Build your own barricades to help fortify your position.
Slower / realistic gameplay: Supplies is scarce, you move slower and you die pretty easily, plan your actions.
Inventory system: You can't carry everything you come across, so think about what you may need to take and leave.
Co-op supply sharing: Give and receive weapons / ammo from teammates, (if you or them are kind enough).
Wide variety of weapons ranging from pistols, shotguns, machine guns and even melee weapons.
Random weapon and ammo placements: Guns and ammo types are randomised, making each play through slightly different.
Lots of zombies (obviously): Most of them are slow (George Romero style), but are dangerous in large numbers, especially if they corner you. Watch out for running zombies!
I will Usually host a multiplayer server of this mod on Doomseeker under the name "[TSPG] Doom Of The Dead V1.0".

I got this error: Script error, "Doom Of The Dead V1.0.pk3:decorate.blood.txt" line 545:

Gzdoom will give you that error, the mod is made for zandronum, Megazombieman might fix it or something can be done for it to be compatible for gzdoom
Pretty close to the mark for being similar to NMRiH. Could use the ability to unload no longer wanted weapons though. Seems a little too easy to hit and run with the melee weapons as well but I cant remember if NMRiH was like that or not
