I come to present to you Distraction mod, a Half-Life 2 action style mod much like The Specialists and Action Half-Life were for Half-Life, except better. A list of planned features can be found on the site, as well as some media. Forums are buzzing and I wouldn't be here today announcing our mod if progress wasn't being done.
Distraction will feature 3rd person martial arts, mixed akimbo, an arsenal of stunts, a heavy degree of weapon customizations and several amazing maps.
We are still looking for people to join our team; more info can be found on our site by clicking "Join".

After receiving a lot of feedback we have finished patch 1.1 to address some of our current bugs and weapon balance issues. We have also fulfilled strong community requests for an auto assign button and a brief period of spawn protection.

NOTE TO PLAYERS: You will have to rebind your slow motion key.
NOTE TO SERVER ADMINS: LMS supports a maximum of 8 players at the moment, due to the limited number of spawns on our maps. If you want to set up a custom mapcycle you can override the maximum with the CVAR dhl_override_lmslimit. See the included readme for more info.

Is it me or is it that the weapon animations in Distraction is WAY shittier than the one in The Specialists?
i hear this is awesome, but when i played it, it thought it was a single player game
i hope this mod is not death, is there a new vers. in the near future ??

are bots in this game???
Not really, they are but they don't do anything. IE no scripts to make them run across the map and aim at people. They just sit there and take various forms of abuse.
They don't even sit. They just stand around like statues.. But organic statues. If you wanna practice headshot aiming on standing characters... very helpful ^^.
Theres a few tricks to making em move, hum, bot_attack, bot_zombie, iunno a few others you could probably mess with.
