Discovery mod is a full-scale expansion pack for Freelancer focused on continuing the story started in the vanilla campaign via the roleplay-driven multiplayer server an community forums. The mod and community currently host the most active remaining multiplayer experience for Freelancer and the mod introduces many new features including but not limited to new ship classes and types, ship equipment, player owned (and built) bases, jumpdrives, cloaking devices and equipment manufacturing as well as the ability to create, run and maintain player-led factions that shape, contribute and are a part of the ingame roleplay environment. This multiplayer-focused mod allows players to immerse themselves in the Freelancer world some time after the Nomad War from the singleplayer experience.
Description
Installer for 4.93: Horizons - must have freelancer installed (see installation tutorial below) Please make sure you have the latest Microsoft .NET version and, if using Windows 10 - have .NET Framework 3.5 and DirectPlay activated in the Apps settings before installing.

The file is the same as the version v4.91.0.1. Is this correct?
When a friend told me that there was a way to play Freelancer again I was Thrilled, thank you to all involved. I installed the original game and then the Discovery Mod, It Works!!! I haven't had time to explore it or attempt to play with friends through a virtual LAN yet, but I will definitely try this weekend.
Question for the Dev'? Is there a tweak for Full Screen? It's not a menu option, only resolution changes. Also, would other mods be compatible? For example there were other killer mods with multiple ships from many genres I used to use and assuming I could find them again could I import them somehow?

hey, so is 6/6/2022 , i was going to ask if it was a sadistic joke that i start at level 13, and the enemies are 100 levels higher... ive tried reinstalling many times but i fear if i bring others on board they'll find it just as sadistically funny as i do. is there a fix? can i play SP and lower the difficulty? i got no other problems than those... oh right, ehrm the Starflier i started with... i had to console command in 700,000,000 credits to get a small capital ship with cannons and it still took 30 min to kill enemies.... are there any fixes or should i attempt it myself?

OK update can someone help me for some reason the launcher worked the first time right after i installed it but now it well not load and well not even come up just dose not want to work why please help
