Diablo Awake - is a mod for the first Diablo, which introduces many changes into the game. Awake Mod, is also only Diablo 1 mod based on the newest official Blizzard patch v1.09. Newly set up story shows us further fate of the World of Sanctuary, after Baal has been killed and the Worldstone destroyed. The main changes Awake makes are adding new monsters/bosses, spells, new quests, normal items and unique items. Values of prefixes and suffixes has been modified, the difficult of the game has increased and few bugs that were present in Diablo 1 were fixed, such as duplicate bug, flash bug, invisible walls in hell, etc.one of the feature of Diablo awake is shared experience, gained from monsters, over the players what makes cooperative and online game much more fun. Improved monster status bar is also an interesting extras which allows to see current HP of the monster and ever HP and Resist/Immune of Bosses. All shrines which takes away base mana points has been removed.
The best polish mod to "Diablo". New spells, new bosses, new monsters, new items, multiplayer server :)
"Diablo Awakening" is new history in world of "Diablo".
I love the first Diable and this mod is perfect to visit this gem of game again.
I give 7 out of 10 because in town there are a lot of places (houses , another catherdral ) witch you cannot unlock, so all the town moddification is preety uselles imo . Anyway there are a lot of good and new things also in this mod , i'm not gonna discus those now.

This has to be one of the most challenging mods I've played, and I love it.
I played a Rogue, and got to lvl 23 in single player when i defeated Diablo, and dlvl 16 was the toughest and longest battle I've had.
This mod was fun, I liked the new quests. It was challenging and felt somewhat rewarding ever dlvl cleared.
My complaints:
I updated to 6.9b, but game wouldn't recognize it, so it played v 6.5 somehow
Not enough uniques dropped, it's been awhile since I've played the original d1 but in my hrs of play I only came across 2 uniques, and they weren't even for my character which sucked. I only got uniques from quests, which I'm not counting.
Andariel is in dlvl 2, and your char is totally underleveled from killing her, I had to come back at clvl 9 to even have a chance.
overall I liked the game, but it could've been better, and I look forward to the remaster of this mod, if it's even in the making still. b.net serv doesn't work also, which would be nice to see working
