That's because they are authentically sourced. I compiled a palette of natural dyes used in this period from 3 different sources, then sorted them according to social status. The plan is for pricing and availability too will reflect this. New clothes will cost more than old ones, and costlier dyes (madder) more than cheap dyes (woad).

I'm glad your mod is bringing color to the 15th century. Too many games and films make the clothes too drab. Fashion was always the fashion;)

Thanks. Starting with Netflix's Outlaw King and then games like KCD, this is changing. In spite of horror shows like GOT and The Last Kingdom.
Although, for WB, the main reason was Narf's unintended legacy. His excellent work was meant to be a base for further mods. So he kept everything basic. This made sense. But other modders made little changes, other than some basic colors, and reused them. So the bulk of WB mods using Narf's have the same dirty white aketon, etc, just dirty yellow or dirty brown, now. Hardly a change.

Description

Woolen split hosen over linen braies. The linen is bleached white. The wool is dyed with period-accurate natural dyes. The original colors (left per pair) often faded with use (right per pair).
