Deeds of Arms and Chivalry is a modification for Mount & Blade: Warband which focuses on the Hundred Years War between France and England, specifically during the early 15th Century.
A French levied troop. Such men were tenants on a lord's land-holdings, and thus fought when their lord required them too. The same lord often provided their equipment, since skilled workmen were valuable, and not to be thrown away as arrow-fodder (contrary to Hollywood myth). A decent kettle-hat with a wide brim, a padded textile defense, and a big pavise shield. Their weapon of choice was ironically nearly identical to that of most knights; namely, a long pointy stick.
Made by AsherNitin and Noooxy.
Pointy stick, huh?
Yes. A long pointy stick. You shouldn't underestimate it, when both knights and peasants prefer to join battle carrying one.
I was wondering if it is a reference to Shad from Shadiversity, who made several videos about how great sticks as weapons are.
Oh, no. I'm aware of Shad, but I don't subscribe to him. He's more a castle-type guy.
Castle-type? Have no idea what you mean.
I mean his main focus is castles, more than weapons and armor. He does talk about the latter, but he is not very reliable there. On the subject of castles, however, he is reliable.
Pointy stick is OP and it has been been for at least 400,000 years!
