Description
Bascinet with aventail. The aventail covers the face up to the lower lip. It is mounted onto the bascinet via a leather strip over the vervelles, held on by a rope anchor. The bascinet has an integral padded liner sewn along the rim. The liner is also sewn to the mail rings of the aventail.

thanks, that one's mine, an uppercase A stylized to look like a bascinet with a cross for the inner cut-out. if you see another DAC armorer's mark on a piece, it implies our other armorer Noooxy made that piece. both marks on a piece implies shared work/credit.
