I am currently working on a renaissance mod that takes place in c.1508-1513. It will be based on the Great Italians, specifically the war of the League of Cambrai. I am currently on my own, any help is welcome. I need a coder and scene builder. I have 90% of the meshes I need to, a modeler would be great for some specific things. Note I am going all out, I am going to try my hardest to make this the most historically accurate Pike&Shotte; mod warband has seen!
Its a maximillian fluted armor, only knights wore such full armour. And now you make a half-plate of it? See the historical pics, learn wikipedia about armour.
Its a game pal
How about "most historically accurate pike $ shotte", pal?
Again "pal", its a game and the author has the liberty of do with his mod anything that he wants
You need to shut the **** up, Holy.
there is half plate maximilian armor sir, also theres the option of simply not wearing the whole kit. also looks cool. nothing the matter here
man stfu, you did nothing and complain for nothing,it's a game and the modder is working his *** off to give you authentic and somewhat accurate mod and you sit on your flat *** and complain,go do something before your hands slide off due to toxicity
You see someone's hard work on the internet, find an historical inaccuracy in it. And now you use that knowledge to pot shot them tell them to teach themself history? See the tutorials for Warband on the internet, learn how to make your own models and textures.
Then share them
Historical "expert" here to explain to you what you said was wrong on many levels.
Firstly, this armor wasn't reserved for only knights, many Landsknechts were known to wear different levels of it, all the way up to full suits of it. Half-armor wasn't reserved for the 1600's, so doing this is fairly possible, and is shown in paintings of battles including Landsknechts, most of whom were Doppelsöldner. (Sources: Ancient-origins.net [see left side of painting], I.pinimg.com [once again, left side], I.pinimg.com [and again, left side])
Secondly, don't recommend Wikipedia if you're not capable of providing even a page of it, or a source.
Lastly, it's a game dude, chill.
