- What is the mod DeadWood?
DeadWood is a multiplayer Western style Mod for Half-Life². The action takes place somewhere between Texas and Mexico, in 1886. EastWest will take you to various places such as dark mines, ghost towns, luxurious cities… Through this journey, you’ll be able to play with a dozen authentic weapons, and have fun with them !
- What is it about ?
Like every Western adventure which is respected, we have imagine a captivating scenario,
(well, ok that's too much =) to hold in breath the player throughout the game.
Roughly and to make it simple, at the beginning of the game you will arrive in a town
of the Far West where you'll have a mission to achieve, but I don't want to tell you more
for the moment.
Missions will proceed in various environments, accurately rebuilt
to stick as well as possible to Western style. A few exemples: Jail, Train, Mine, and more...
- What about weapons and game characters ?
This project is a TC (Total Conversion) what means accurate reproduction of used weapons
at this time (Colt, Winchester, Stallion, Gatling Wink...) and characters of this period.

That video was made for the cancelled french Mods Party 5, so we decided to release it.
Please note that we did change lot of things since, like players, gameplay and features, thanks to our new coder the work progresses well! Every weapon is integrated, we have a third pistol, a second Winchester and the Sharks sniper scope works amazingly. Moreover we have 4 Outlaws and 3 Lawmen player models, and soon one more to have equal choices in each team.
Finally we did update Wanted and Team pages of the website and we have a new banner.
Be aware that we still seek for Mappers, Animators and Modelers. The mod is almost finish but we need you ! There is always lot of things to add !

since this so called "god" dosn't exist, yes many people saw this! XD
Is there anyone who played this mod and can help me what source sdk base it's using. Because I couldn't start this mod on steam. I think it uses source sdk base 2006 but im not sure. THANKS THE HELP!
