DC Cooperative is a Coop mod with a singleplayer storyline that can also be played in multiplayer with your friends. DC Coop has a wide variety of weapons, monsters and items, such as Parachute, Nightvision, and an Acid protection suit, and an Apache in which player can fly. Team work is required on some of the maps to get past them. DC Coop also brings a deathmatch mode incase you have beaten all the maps and just want to fight against each other, or have a clan match. DC brings plenty of maps to play in multiplayer, each with a different mission or storyline. Various new features are included

This was pretty underwhelming. Perhaps it was good/fun for its time, but it has aged BADLY. So I'm gonna review the maps one by one except the deathmatch ones.

axis_text was simple enemy spam which can be near impossible to get past.

c1a3b is a Half-Life map included for some reason

dc_caves is a fairly generic and bland short tunnel system which just ends with an infinite enemy spawner.

dc_desertwar is you and a bunch of bots trying to take down an aircraft in a small military camp, pretty boring.

dc_desolate1 is a **** enemy spam map followed by a very quick running segment where you group up with your fellow marines and ends abruptly.

dc_garghunt is a seudo Garry's Mod map where you just use guns or explosions to kill a gargantua that spawns every time it dies.

dc_hostage is a ******** hostage rescue mission which is near impossible to beat, while a neat concept, it doesn't seem like you can sneak past the guards guarding the entrance, probably designed with co-op in mind.

dc_houseraid is a generic house with terrorists inside, no ending.

dc_inflight is a very poorly designed survival map taking place in an aircraft. You can just sit in your spawn area to get the maximum time possible for whatever reason, very tiny map as well.

dc_invasion is a nonsensical box map with bots shooting crates for no feckin reason, seriously, what is the point of this map?!

DC_LastCastle crashes the game when I try to shoot at the aircraft...

dc_ohmaha_tdm didn't work properly the first time I tried it. I was asked to select a team and spawned in a boat with no bots to be seen, either way it's just a duplicate of "news"

dc_runoff is a very small corridor map which involved you killing some hostiles in a narrow street. However, it's impossible to progress once you reach the end of the street, as you'll explode and die immediately without fail.

dc_ship is a weird one. Tries to be a survival map? But there's no end to it, you're on a sinking ship and must fend off the cool cut fish monsters, but it seems to be endless.

dc_squekrush involved a specific Xen creature infinitely spawning in a box map with a bunker. Bots die immediately.

dc_urbanchaos is OP enemy spam which makes it extremely unfair and unfun to play, didn't get very far, map name says it all.

dccoop1 is much of the same. It shows off the parachute mechanic, and then shortly after you're greeted with infinite enemy spawns and spam, making it near impossible to beat.

DCStormX was the only map I actually enjoyed and thought was actually pretty well designed. Set in a winter theme, you're forced to stop and check out some terrorist base, which extends from above ground to underground. I will say the triggers are a bit weird and unexpected at times, and the map ends abruptly after killing the boss, no end screen, you just have to assume that's it, but some good design at play here, well put together and feels like an actual Half-Life map.

dymar tries to be creative but just ends up confusing me. You're supposed to track and kill two criminals, but you see very little of that. Instead you just wander around trying to figure out where the hell you're supposed to go. I got stuck twice and had to use the kill command. This map needs direction big time.

evolution seemingly wasn't tested properly as it seems there's no way to actually beat the first challenge area.

extension doesn't load.

gdu is a small map with no significance. A gas station, flat area, and a random tunnel underground with a bullsquid for no reason, infinite zombie spawner as well.

All the "news" maps tie into an unfinished/broken mission which involved you and marines storming normandy beach. When you actually manage to load into the normandy beach... it's unbeatable, you get gunned down instantly and even get shot several times as you spawn in, complete bs..

soccer is a soccer course with a non-functional soccer ball.

training_cars crashed my game, taining_fly bugged out on me, and training_items doesn't have water to swim through on the second test....

vehicle is just a vehicle test map, have fun with them, gmod style.

zombieattack is an infinite zombie spawner with WW2/1 weapons.

CONCLUSION:

This mod has aged real badly. A bunch of unfinished, dev, and test maps all smashed together in one ugly mess. This feels like an alpha project more than anything. I'm sure you may have some fun with it co-op but for me, not much fun to me had, apart from that one map I actually enjoyed.
