Most of the team has been busy with real life matters for the previous months, but we finally managed to put together a new release. There's still polishing work to do, but tyranids are fully playable and we know you want to try them out.
Due to technical problems, we cannot upload the new version to moddb right now, so here's a mediafire link:
HOW TO INSTALL:
1-Delete any old DoW40K_SS folder you had in your Dawn of War Soulstorm directory.
2-Extract this package in your Dawn of War Soulstorm directory.
3-Start up the game and select Firestorm over Kronus from the mod list!
TO PLAY FOK WITH TYRANIDS:
-Instead of Firestorm over Kronus, load up Anphelion Project.
And no, there's no need for extra downloads or other mods.

Hey loving the mod but im unable to join games nor can my friend join mine. Any ideas?
I suggest you and your friend both remove all of the mod's files from your Soulstorm directory and do a fresh clean instal, making sure you have the same base files and are taking the same steps.
Could it be a Firewall issue at all? We both basically installed the mod the exact way your supposed too
install Hamachi program on your PC, set up LAN between your computers and play :)

playing against orks makes my game crash after several minutes of gameplay. only running wordup and annhilate options.
just enabled ai scar functions and set resource rate to standard, seems to be running correctly now

I can not seem to select Anphelion Project, there is no .mod file. How do I activate Tyranids?

Hi people, i´m having a major issue with the mod. When i active it, the name of all units dissapear in the army painter, and only appears "$ 160120046 No range"
And in game, it´s the same problem. EVERY text and description is replaced with this line. Any idea why this is happening?
check in steam and see if the game is in german or english this issue fixes most of these id issues as its a fault with the local languge
Hey, im having an error, when i upgrade the Space Marine Terminators to flamers their icon gets pink, this also happens with some units from Tau, also happens with some Greater Chaos Daemons icons. Also a missing texture from the terminator´s default fist. Could that be fixed?

I think they are just "unimplemented" at this stage, I wouldn't worry, even if it takes a decade, these guys seem to be persistent and I'm glad for it :).

Fire Storm Over Kaurowva have the Best Graphics, Best Design for all units and Best Game play making it a very Strategic and Tactical game with Brutal combat as it should be. In my opinion, Best Mod I seen with Ultimate Apocalypses Behind and for Vanella game play, Black Templar and Souls Storm bug Fix. I highly recommend this mod to everyone. The Tyranids in this mod are the most best looking Tyranids I seen and the Al is smarter and more lethal. Thos mod is a Most have for everyone that love to play Down of war 1, it do really enhance the experience of game play and fun to new levels. 5 Stars out of 5 stars for this mod for sure.
I truly hope the mod isn't dead, tyranids are in very shape but sure can use a couple fixes here and there. Great job anyway!
Have to echo everything Charlie said; hands down the highest quality mod with the best gameplay improvements. Been playing this for 2 years now and still not bored, hopefully we get an update. It beats Ultimate Apocalypse any day.
Another alternative to this is the Dawn of Skirmish SS AI mod, which retains vanilla gameplay but improves the computer allies/opponents immensely. I’ve been switching back and forth between the two for a while now, they’re both great.
Does this work with the latest Tyranid mod version?
